Ashish Shinde, is currently the Director India – Iberchem India since April 2022. Iberchem India is a 100% subsidiary of Iberchem Spain which is part of the Croda Group of Companies UK. Ashish has around 30years of experience spanning Speciality Chemicals and Polymers across diverse industries from Fragrances, Personal care, Pharma, Home care, Plastics, Paints and other Industrial applications.

Ashish is based in Mumbai and responsible for the Iberchem India business and is a Graduate Engineer in Polymer chemistry with a Post graduation in Marketing Management from Mumbai University.

Monisha Mullick

Monisha MULLICK – As a Perfumer, I find myself continuously enchanted by the art of
fragrance composition

1958 – Born in bustling Delhi, where fragrances would become a part of her life story, Monisha experienced a nomadic childhood due to her father’s naval career, moving between Delhi and vibrant Bombay. Her formative years were marked by road trips across India, forming deep connections with the country’s sights, smells, and sounds, from Delhi’s spice markets to Bombay’s sea breeze. Embracing this opportunity, Monisha found herself in the captivating world of perfumery. Monisha Mullick, a trailblazing female perfumer, continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of fragrance with her creativity, innovation, and unwavering dedication.

1978 – After earning a degree in Bachelor of Science with Honors , Monisha’s journey into the world of perfumery began. She found her first job in Lakme, that recognized her innate talent that led her to working on developments in the Skin and Hair category. She further pursued her Diploma in Management in 1984 and further honed her skills. She also played an integral role in setting up Contemporary Perfumer’s branch in India to supply the Old Spice fragrance which was locally blended for the first time in India. Her journey further led to UK, where Monisha was trained by renowned Perfumer Michael Pickthall who was heavily involved in the development of fragrances for renowned British perfume house Penhaligon’s.

1992 – Monisha’s career trajectory took a remarkable turn in 1992 when she worked as Creative Head – Fine Fragrances and contributed to many Indian and International brands. Notable amongst them was the signature fragrance for football club FCB Barcelona.

2017 – In 2017 by Joining Robertet India Pvt. Ltd. as Senior Perfumer she continues to create fine fragrances using beautiful Naturals from the Robertet pallette for her clients. Monisha continues to craft scents that are a testament to the power of perseverance and passion. Some of her cherished ingredients include the delicate allure of Jasmine, the timeless elegance of Rose, the refined depth of Iris, and the warm embrace of Amber and precious woods. For her, being a perfumer is an eternal journey of learning, forever striving to master the exquisite materials on our aromatic palette and craft olfactory symphonies that resonate with the soul.

2022 – Was elected President of the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC)
